Walt Brenner, Owner
Walt founded Walt’s Insulation in 2000 after spending years watching insulation crews blow through jobs without blowing enough insulation. He still answers the phone, still walks job sites, and still gets a little too excited about R-values. Walt holds a published license number and a published address because he believes if you’re going to charge people money, they should know exactly who they’re dealing with. He’s the one down the road, literally. Ask him about the time he crawled through a Montecito Heights attic in August and decided there had to be a better way to run a business.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Walt’s Insulation for 14 years and runs most of the larger attic insulation and air sealing jobs in Pasadena. He’s our Owens Corning and CertainTeed specialist, which means he can tell you exactly how a properly installed fiberglass batt system should fit against your rafters and why gaps matter more than the marketing brochures let on. Marcus grew up in Altadena and still complains about the summer afternoons when attic temperatures hit 130 degrees before noon. He’s the guy who notices if a previous contractor left vent baffles crushed or skipped a bay entirely.
Dana R., Senior Installer
Dana joined the team eight years ago and handles most of our spray foam and blown-in insulation work, including the tricky retrofits in Pasadena’s older craftsman homes. She’s certified on Demilec and Icynene spray foam systems and has a knack for keeping overspray off everything that isn’t supposed to get foamed.
